Swedish startup EV maker Volta Trucks has launched the Volta Zero — what it calls the world’s first purpose-built full-electric 16-tonne commercial vehicle. It’s designed specifically for inner-city parcel and freight distribution.
The Volta Zero will use 160-200 kWh of battery power and will run on LiIon Phosphate batteries. At the end of the battery’s life, it can be recycled and reused as an energy storage device.
